You've read one platform guide, maybe two — but with 25+ marketplaces and quick-commerce apps now covered on Dhanaay, "which one should I add next" isn't a flat list problem anymore. This page organizes every platform we've researched by two things that actually decide your next move: what you sell, and how hard it is to get listed.

Onboarding difficulty comes in four flavours, consistently across every guide below:

  • Self-serve — sign up on the seller portal yourself, no brand approval gate.
  • Approval-gated — a Category Manager or brand-review team decides whether you list, on their timeline, not yours.
  • Rides on another platform's account — you can't register directly; it only works once you already have a seller account elsewhere.
  • Not possible / no public programme — nothing public was found, or the platform doesn't take third-party sellers at all. Each guide says so plainly rather than inventing a process.

Find your category below, then open the registration guide for the platform that fits.

General Marketplace — Every-Category Sellers

Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho cover the widest range of products and are all self-serve. eBay and Etsy add cross-border reach for export-eligible goods. Shopsy is the low-investment reseller route, but only if you already have a Flipkart seller account.

Fashion & Beauty

Ajio Commerce is the self-serve option; Myntra, Nykaa, and Slikk all gate onboarding behind a brand or category review. Bewakoof sells its own designs and has no confirmed self-serve route for outside sellers.

Grocery & Quick-Commerce

Every quick-commerce platform here — Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, JioMart — is approval-gated with GST/APOB requirements that don't come up on single-warehouse marketplace selling; see the quick-commerce GST and dark-store registration guide for the APOB mechanics. Amazon Now and Flipkart Minutes only work through an existing Amazon or Flipkart seller account. Handpickd and Peeko have no public seller-facing programme.

Food & Dining

Swiggy and Zomato are self-serve for restaurants. Ownly (run by Rapido) has no public listing form — onboarding runs through Rapido's own outreach team.

Hyperlocal, Local & Other

Magicpin suits sellers with a physical footprint — a store, salon, or gym — wanting more walk-in traffic. District is approval-gated on both its dining (via Zomato) and events sides. FirstCry only takes baby/kids brands through a business-partnership inquiry, not a registration form. Tata Neu doesn't run its own onboarding at all — it routes to Tata CLiQ or BigBasket depending on category.
